Week 46- New missionaries are GOLDEN

Image
Hello! What a wonderful week in Manchester, England. It is still crazy to think that I live in England. Buttttt I've decided to be a missionary forever. Sorry! Just kidding. What a blessed week it was!! Here are some highlights: - the new missionaries for this transfer have ARRIVED! It is always such a pleasure to be here to welcome them and film them. THEY ARE SO COOL. I can already see how much they are going to bless this mission. They were full of so much joy and confidence. In the EMM, President and Sister Tunnicliffe do this awesome activity on your first day you arrive.... street contact in Liverpool. When I first got here I wanted to run away, BUT I am so grateful they threw us straight into it. Now being the STL to go street contact with these missionaries for the first time, I love it sooooo so sosososososo much. I love talking to everyone and seeing the missionaries try their best to do it as well. Sister Biggs absolutely killed it, she was like "Let me talk mo...

Week 45- Miracles!!!!!!

Image
Hello! Another week here in Stretford. What a blessing it is to stay here to witness the Lord's hand each day. 2 HUGE miracles this week were baptisms of two referrals which testimonies we were able to capture on camera. First, Richard in Runcorn. He is incredible! His testimony is so strong and he was so beyond grateful he clicked on an ad to learn about the Book of Mormon. Second, NOSUYI in Stretford ward!!! He is a miracle. I have gained so so so much love for him. I taught him from the beginning as well and the most beautiful sight is to watch someone change because of the Savior. It used to be so hard to get him to church and meet with him. Sister Rowland and I were so close to dropping him but I couldn't be more grateful for holding on to him. He is such a strong and faithful disciple that devotes the little time he has to coming to church and meeting with us. And he was overflowing with joy on his baptism day!!! It was so special to see. He gave a very powerful testimony...

Just kidding I am just sick. HELLLOO! I have no idea what to write this week so I'm just gonna pop in and keep this streak and say what's up. Howzit everyone. Send me some life updates Life in England has been grand. It has been sunny for like 2 weeks WHATTTTS going on idk. But joy is just floating in the air. Don't you just love when that happens? Like one of my favorite members say, "What's there not to love???" Amen Sean Roberts.  Also Nosuyi is getting baptized on Sunday. We are preparing for his baptism this Sunday so that's exciting!!! He is sweet as ever.  My testimony has grown like crazy! I am so grateful for all the experiences and people the Lord has place in my path on my mission because they have all led me closer to my Savior and WOW I didn't think I could actually feel this close to him. He is my rock. It is amazing to see that the Lord doesn't just do things for us and take away all the pain but he walks us through it and always has...

Week 43- Surprise baptism????

Image
Wow! My week overflowed with miracles!!! SHOCKER. Why is God so good???? I am astonished by him.  This week we went to the temple for baptisms with Charley and Joseph. What a special special day. They were filled with light! It was so special to witness them baptize each other. Charley said it felt like he was home when he walked in the doors. The biggest miracle of all was their Father, Arthur. This was his first time back to the temple after flippin 20 years. How special is that?! I have a FIRM firm testimony of member referrals. Because of Arthur, these boys, and Maggie, they have brought so many to church and so many BACK to church. The boy's friend Matt started coming to church and we are teaching him and guess what?? He brought HIS friend to church on Sunday and now HE is being taught. 8 people are getting baptized from Arthur's family. How blessed am I to be witnessing it.  Another HUGE miracle was on Saturday. When I served in Crewe a while ago and finished traini...
