Week 46- New missionaries are GOLDEN

Hello! What a wonderful week in Manchester, England. It is still crazy to think that I live in England. Buttttt I've decided to be a missionary forever. Sorry!

Just kidding. What a blessed week it was!! Here are some highlights:

- the new missionaries for this transfer have ARRIVED! It is always such a pleasure to be here to welcome them and film them. THEY ARE SO COOL. I can already see how much they are going to bless this mission. They were full of so much joy and confidence. In the EMM, President and Sister Tunnicliffe do this awesome activity on your first day you arrive.... street contact in Liverpool. When I first got here I wanted to run away, BUT I am so grateful they threw us straight into it. Now being the STL to go street contact with these missionaries for the first time, I love it sooooo so sosososososo much. I love talking to everyone and seeing the missionaries try their best to do it as well. Sister Biggs absolutely killed it, she was like "Let me talk more" AMEN SISTER. She is a beast. Anyway, being able to reflect each transfer on where I am now and how much I have grown since my first day here as a missionary is the greatest thing to witness. It 100% confirms to me that change is so possible through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I have watched so many of my weaknesses become strengths and the best part is there is SO MUCH joy in the process!! I love this work.

- PAUL GOT BAPTIZED Stretford is rolllllllin. Everyone is coming into the fold. Paul is such a special son of God. He spends each day deep in the scriptures and is always searching for truth. He has known that Jesus Christ has been strengthening and uplifting him since Day 1! He is one of the most special miracles I have had on my mission. One day Sister Rowland and I were weekly planning and we received a referral named Paul. We immediately called him and when he told us that he was Charley and Joe's cousin (the brothers that also just got baptized) we legit JUMPED for joy and ran around to tell everyone in the mission office. Since that day Paul has made such an impact on my life and my testimony. Seeing him enter the waters of baptism was so special and I feel so beyond blessed to witness his journey. HE IS A MIGHTY ONE!

One of the greatest things I have learned on my mission is how much I just love people. Myyyyy goodness. God is so good and has led me to so many people, especially here in Stretford, that have completely changed my life forever. These people in England are so special to me and have helped me come closer to my Savior by LEAPS and bounds. I couldn't thank God more. It makes all the hard, stressful, overwhelming times alllll worth it. Sometimes I get sad thinking about how I will have to leave them one day but then I remember that we have such a merciful God who watches over all of His children including YOU, whoever may be reading this. He has got this covered.

I love you all sooooooooo much. So much. sooo much. You hear me? Keep rockin and stay sweet chao.

Cheeeeeers
Sister Smith
