Week 66-Staying in CHORLEY.

HELLO!!

I had a lot of spiritual highlights this week. Here are 2. First, THE TEMPLE. Sister Christensen was sick this week so it was the first time on my mission where I had to stay in the flat all day. It was tough but I'm grateful because that meant we got to go to the temple, just the two of us on Friday. It was probably the most special experience I had in the temple ever. The spirit was so strong and everything resonated with me. I read the scripture in D&C where it says that after we leave the temple, we are armed with power. That's exactly how I felt. There was so much this transfer that I could've done better and it was weighing on me so heavily, but when I was in the celestial room I got the strongest feeling that I have been forgiven and still a faithful servant of the Lord. It became another day of recommitment and since that day I have felt so much peace. I have felt a fresh new start and I am so excited to continue this next transfer.

The second experience I had was yesterday at church. Recently I have been feeling very anxious and confused about our relationship with the members here. I feel like we barely knew them at all last transfer and we were not united. But members are my FAVOURITE and I love building relationships with them. I decided to fast yesterday to unite with the members and... God. Blessed. Us. Everyone was coming up to us at church, had an amazing ward coordination, the whole fast and testimony meeting was centered on "experiences sharing the gospel, AND our meal calendar is FULL. YAYYY!!!! We also had a member baptism and the member wanted the whole focus of the baptism to be centered around missionary work. He invited so many non-members. And SO many came!!! He wanted us to be completely involved, so all of us missionaries made an effort to be there, welcome them, and talk to them. They definitely felt the spirit at that baptism. SUCH A GOOD DAY!!! God is so so so good.

  love you all so much

Cheeeeeers
