I'm gonna spend more time on this email... because MAN I just am so grateful. God is just throwing blessings at me even through the challenges?!?!! Yep. He is that good.
MIRACLE MOMENTS
I LOVE DAILY GOALS AND MARGINAL GAINS!! This week there was so much joy and success because of both of those things. It is so easy to think you are not doing enough but when you see the Lord magnify your desired efforts it's SO AWESOME! This week we had two days where we set specific goals. On Tuesday we made a goal to make 1 friend. That day, we received a referral that was SO interested. She has a family with 6 kids and 9 grandkids that are ALL interested. WOW!! Then on Saturday we made a goal to invite a specific amount of people to church, we were running around all day to talk to absolutely EVERYONE we saw. It was the best feeling in the world. At the very start of the day we saw this man walking his dog way far down the road and he was the EXACT person we envisioned. We sprinted down the road and started talking to him out of breath, he was not interested at all. We started walking back and saw 2 African males outside their house with 3 girls running and playing outside. BINGO! We immediately talked to them and he was thrilled to meet us. We gave him a Book of Mormon and taught him right there, he immediately accepted, and we are going back on Tuesday to teach their family in their home. AND THE BEST PART... HE CAME TO CHURCH with his daughter!!!! Even before we had a lesson with them. The whole time I was thinking how this is 10x more likely for him to be baptized yayyyy. All because we ran after the first man walking his dog. Later that Saturday, we were sitting in the car with our windows down, eating lunch and we decided to talk to every single person that walked by the car. One man named John walked by, my companion ran out to talk to him and then brought him closer to the car to grab a card. I started talking to him and we ended up teaching him!! We also had another lesson that evening and we saw how much he needs God in his life right now. Despite all the challenges this week, the Lord provided the joy and miracles through all of it.
Love you all so much! Just did the hardest hike of my entire life, thought that was the end so glad im still here writing this. Was gonna eat a can of beans up there but didn't. Dang it
Yayyyyyy Fortune!
