Week 56- The POWER OF THE SPIRIT

I am grateful for the spirit that I felt this week! We had some very special experiences. We are teaching a friend from Hungary, her name is Judit. She is an older lady and is heavenly sent and prepared. Because she speaks Hungarian, we are working with the elders serving in Hungary and they teach her over zoom. She likes the support so we meet with her in person and sit by her the whole time. On Friday we had a lesson with her and we planned the invitation for her to be baptized. We told the elders that they can follow the spirit as well and do what they think is best. We sat through this lesson that was in full Hungarian. I was worried because the place that we were in had super loud music and I didn't think the spirit would be felt. I gave her my headphones and I realized how powerful the Holy Ghost really is. She was completely tuned out from the world. Towards the end of the lesson I looked over and saw tears running down her face, then I looked at the elders and TEARS running down their face!! Then TEARS from us! In that moment my companion and I looked at each other and immediately knew that she accepted the invitation to be baptized. This was one of the most spiritual moments of my mission. To see Judit be so emotional showed to me that Heavenly Father really does watch over His children. We have the power to help that spirit be felt in their lives. AND the best part is... SHE'S AN ONLINE REFERRAL!!! We also had an expereince with our friend Ami who is getting baptized in a few weeks. We prepared to teach her the law of tithing this whole week by praying, fasting, doing roleplays on extending the invitation, etc. We were quite nervous to teach it, but we remembered that the Holy Ghost is the true teacher. We had an AMAZING fellowshipper and she just explained it so well. Ami accepted the law of tithing!! The spirit was so strong. She also brought her son to church and he said he wants to be baptized too!!! The power of referrals and the power of the sprirt. Two things I have a strong testimony of!
