Week 33- Strength from the Savior
Can't believe it has already been a week! Back again with this amazing streak.
The start of this week started on a big low. One of the people that have changed my life and many others is my good friend Graham Jarvis. Man he is just absolutely incredible. Sister Hanks and I had the privilege to get to know him last transfer and he became our new best friend. Graham is a recent new member in the Oldham ward and is the most devoted disciple of Jesus Christ I have ever met. If you know the chapter Alma 26 in the Book of Mormon, he is the definition of that chapter. FULL of joy and rejoicing in the Savior any moment he can. Graham had a sudden heart attack and passed away last week. My heart shattered hearing the news but my mind has fully been enlightened by the wonderful Plan of Happiness. I was able to call my mom that night and she helped me realize truly one of the greatest blessings; that Graham will be my angel the rest of my mission uplifting and strengthening me. I just 100% know Heaven needed him and his strong conversion testimony at this time. Graham always talked to us about how he wanted to be a missionary and was just ecstatic about how his life had changed because of the gospel. The opportunity he now has to be a powerful missionary in Heaven has given me the strength and hope to continue on. I love him so much and he will always be in my heart, walking alongside me and the Savior each day. He has changed my heart forever!
I am so incredibly grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ and didn't think I could get this close to Him. He has strengthened me, lifted me up, and carried me my whole mission, especially this past week. I just know with my whole heart I couldn't do this without Him and He never gives up on me. I truly feel so lucky to be serving with the best companion, Jesus Christ.
I am doing good though! Please don't worry!! This next new transfer is going to be amazing and so many great things are coming. Sister Rowland and I are staying in Stretford as the Social Media sisters and now STLS!!! Crazy stuff but I'm stoked!
Love you all so much, thank you for being so dang awesome!
