Week 11- All is Well! All is Well!
Howzzzittt. I love being a missionary goodness gracious! Who knew spreading the gospel could bring so much joy??
Today was temple pday Yeeaayy! I love going to the temple and being able to just sit there in peace. I feel so blessed to be able to go!!
This week was incredible but also again full of some ups and downs. Anytime we felt something was going on we would sing "alllll is wellll, allll is wellll" because it is! God definitely tested me this week with my personal patience and knowledge. We had to teach come follow me to the whole mission and do district council training this week...awesome. I guess they really trusted us. Definitely was a stretching experience but booom did it and I learned so much! The spirit truly does put words in your mouth. That's a promised blessing right there. We talked a lot about our power and authority as missionaries and our divine worth. Everyone listen up. I want you to all know and remember that GOD LOVES US SOOO MUCH and everyone EQUALLY. It's something that we hear all the time but don't let it in one ear and out the other. He will not give more power to one individual than another. We ALL have the ability to speak through the spirit and share the gospel how cool?? We have sooo much potential! So let's use it!
We also had a powerful zone conference this week and wowwwwwweee President and Sister Tunnicliffe are amazing. They are like a buffet of revelation. It never ends. And it's always so good and exactly what we need to hear. We talked about expanding our vision, using industry, and maintaing momentum as a missionary. VIM! We can all do this as disciples even if we're not missionaries. How can you expand your vision and flip that switch to Christ's eyes? Even when we think we can see people can we really see through them? Do we really know what's going on in their life and how Christ would see them? That's something that God gives us the ability to change. To flip that switch and see them differently. It's the most important thing we can do to follow the 2 great commandments!! I invite all of you to try it out. Change your vision and put on those spiritual glasses. I know that's what God wants us to do and Jesus Christ will let us know how to do it so don't fret.
Overall an amazing week full of pouring rain and the bus never coming on time. I had to speed write this and sorry in advance for all the people I didn't get to respond to. Temple pdays are crazy!!! I read all of your emails and they help me so much so thank you and feel free to email me when you get the chance. Update me! Miss you all.
Also everyone pray for DEOOOO. He's our good friend we met and is hungry for the gospel it's incredible to see. Gonna baptize that man.
Love you byeeee
Sister Smith
