Week 3- GOSPEL = GOOOOD NEWS!
What's up!!!! Still in England don't worry.
Can't believe I've been a missionary for 3 weeks already but also can't believe it's only been 3 weeks. The craaaap.
Another awesome week!!! Gonna make this short but awesome okay. This week was full of so many spiritual experiences! I wanted to start off with Sundays. Sundays are the BEST day of the week and especially here at the MTC. They are so spiritual and a great break from classes. In Relief Society us sisters got to talk about our divine identity and read over our patriarchal blessings. It was such an amazing experience reading for the first time as a missionary. The spirit filled that room and I know this is exactly where I am supposed to be!!! If you guys have your patriarchal blessing, GO read it. Right now. We are so blessed with that amazing gift and each of us have are so special to our Heavenly Father. Remember your divine identity!
Yesterday I was sitting in class and staring off into space and literally said out loud "What the crap, we are freaking missionaries." Elder WATTTSS laughed at me. Thanks elder. That is basically the feeling of a missionary if you were curious!!! Does not feel real. BUT it is amazing, I wouldn't trade it for the world. I leave for the field on Wednesday woooahhh. Pray for me! I have definitely been feeling nervous and wish I could stay at the MTC forever lowkey. But after saying my nightly prayers last night, I laid in bed thinking about going into the field like I do every night and all I could feel was happiness. I couldn't even find a place in my heart to feel fear! I pictured all those future friends of mine being filled with The Holy Ghost and almost (almost okay) started crying. This is what it's all about, this is why I am here and it's just getting started, I cannot wait!!!!
The last thing I wanted to mention was "Forget yourself and go to work." If you guys know me, you know that is my all time favorite quote and story. Go research that story about Gordon B. Hinkley while he was out here in England on his mission it's pretty powerful! Anyway on Wednesday we were able to go out on a church history tour/trip with all the missionaries and it was SO spiritual aaaaaand guess who's apartment we drove by. Gordon B. Hinkley's!! It was so special to me because that story changed my whole perspective as a missionary and is one of the #1 reasons I am out here! I know God put that story and this experience in my path for a reason, I feel so blessed!!!
Beans on toast has been conquered... go watch the video in my google photos.
WEEK THREE COMPLETE.
So grateful for all you guys and pleeease send me emails when you get the chance. It is so fun hearing from you it makes my week!
Also making another google photos album of all my spiritual thoughts, scriptures, and notes so feel free to join that one too if you'd like! AND I think it would be so cool if everyone added any of their notes, sudies, scriptures, etc. so feel free!!!! We can all share things and help each other. Hope some of my notes can help you guys with anything you are struggling with or have questions about! If you don't join please just read MOSIAH 24:13!!! This scripture has been keepin me going all week! Praying for you always and ALWAYS get that bread.
