Week 1- NAIIILED IT!
HELLOOO! You guys are all so awesome. I know this is a wee bit long but I NEEDA SHARE with ya.
First thing I wanna say is I. LOVE. BEING. A. MISSIONARY. WOWEE! I feel sooo blessed it is crazy. The amount of times I have seen Heavenly Father's love for me this week is crazy! Second thing I wanna say is guys guys guys I know how hard it is to read emails but I seriously would encourage all of you to read those friends you have out serving's emails because missionaries hold sooo much amazing insight and have such a sweet spirit with them (aka all my friends out serving right now you guys rock) They can help each and every one of you! I hope throughout the next 18 months something I say will stick out to you because I love you guys!
This week has been seriously incredible. I got sick this week which was so stupid. Thanks a lot satan. But I just pretended I wasn't and mooooved on! The amount of powerful things I have learned is craaazy, never filled notebooks so fast. I had heard that home MTC is kinda meh but ummm WRONG it is so amazing if you have the right mindset and remember your purpose!!! Here is my honest opinion: During class I feel so so good and at peace but as soon as I end those calls I am filled with fear and nervousness which I have come to know is okay and normal. Because my family is so freaking amazing it makes me so sad to leave them but I know as soon as I pass security I will be okay because they have helped me so much I know what I am supposed to be doing.
I SCORED with my district shoutout to you guys for bringing such an amazing spirit to our classes every single time, I am so stinkin grateful for them already. As well as SISTER TEEEEEPLES my amazing companion, man! She is so incredible and so incredibly smart I have learned so much from her. My teachers are also all so awesome and almost as awesome as all their English accents hahaha jk. Cannot wait to quote them all the time for you guys.
This may be the most important part of the email so listen up... Beans on toast. Okay guys one of my teachers told us that he could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner sooooo we'll see about that. eeeeek.
Sorry this is a tad long but LISTEN UP! "Christ knows your potential and where you are!" What a simple but powerful quote. It is so comforting to know that he knows exactly where we are in life and what we are feeling. Also how lucky are we that we get to have a 2 way conversation with him whenever we want?!?! WHAA?
I invite all of you to not just simply talk to God this week but to have a 2 way conversation with him! Pour out your heart, he loves when we do that. Don't be afraid to make them long either, it's more time with God!!!
